£30 MILLION TURNOVER DIRECT MARKETING GROUP SET TO BOOST ITS OWN SALES THROUGH CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP

One of the UK’s leading direct marketing services companies has been acquired by West Midlands-based Grove Industries, for an undisclosed sum.

GI Solutions Group Limited (GIS), which has 170 employees in Leicester & China, 158 of whom are Leicester-based, and annual sales of around £30 million, has been in the direct mail, database marketing, loyalty and outsourcing business for 16 years latterly focusing on added value solutions in customer value management.

The GIS marketing business supplies many of the leading users of direct marketing in the UK with a broad range of direct mail, database marketing and innovative printed products.

The business, which has a history of technology leadership in the field of direct marketing, will continue to be run by the existing management team. All senior management remain in place under the new ownership.

Gil Investments Buys Specialist £20 Million Turnover Flexible Film Producer CAMVAC

Gil Investments Ltd have added specialist barrier film producer Camvac to their diverse portfolio of automotive, chemical and packaging companies, with the prime intention of developing the business to its full potential. The acquisition of Camvac from Australian Group Amcor Flexibles sees the business continuing at its current site in Thetford, UK with its existing workforce and management.

The turnover of the business which is over £20 million has 114 employees serving flexible packaging customers in the Beverage, Food, Medical and Industrial markets.

Camvac develops, produces and markets through a well established range of branded products, a variety of coated, metallised and laminated barrier films for a wide range of specialised and demanding applications.
